RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL INSTRUCTIONS
Right of withdrawal for consumers
A consumer is any natural person who enters into a legal transaction for purposes that are predominantly neither commercial nor self-employed professional.
Right of withdrawal
You have the right to withdraw from this contract within fourteen days without giving any reason.
The withdrawal period is fourteen days from the day
- on the day you or a third party named by you, who is not the carrier, took possession of the goods, provided you ordered one or more goods as part of a single order and they are delivered together.
- on the day you or a third party named by you, who is not the carrier, took possession of the last goods, provided you ordered multiple goods as part of a single order and they are delivered separately.
The right of withdrawal does not apply to personalized products, such as products with engraving.
To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must inform us (kohlenstoff 12, Leipziger Str. 8, 47665 Sonsbeck, E-mail address: info(at)kohlenstoff-12.com) of your decision to withdraw from this contract by means of a clear statement (e.g. a letter sent by post or e-mail). You may use the attached model withdrawal form, but it is not mandatory.
To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient that you send the notification of exercising the right of withdrawal before the withdrawal period expires.
Consequences of withdrawal
If you withdraw from this contract, we will refund you all payments received from you, excluding delivery costs, without delay and no later than fourteen days from the day we receive the notification of your withdrawal from this contract. We will use the same payment method you used for the original transaction unless expressly agreed otherwise with you; in no case will you be charged fees for this refund.
We may refuse the refund until we have received the goods back or you have provided proof that you have sent the goods back, whichever is earlier.
You must return or hand over the goods to us immediately and in any case no later than fourteen days from the day on which you inform us of the withdrawal of this contract. The deadline is met if you send the goods before the period of fourteen days has expired.
The buyer bears the direct costs of returning the goods.
You are only liable for any loss in value of the goods if this loss in value is due to handling them beyond what is necessary to check their condition, properties, and functioning.
The right of withdrawal does not apply to the following contracts:
- customized items (engravings), as these are personalized creations according to customer wishes and are unusable for resale
Exclusion of the right of withdrawal
The right of withdrawal does not apply to contracts for the delivery of goods that are not prefabricated and for whose manufacture an individual selection or determination by the consumer is decisive or that are clearly tailored to the personal needs of the consumer (§ 312g para. 2 no. 1 BGB).
Additional notes on withdrawal
If products from an order that includes a free item (e.g. a jewelry box) are returned and the remaining order value falls below the minimum order value for the free item (200 €), the corresponding provisions in the terms and conditions apply.
